Join Our Team as a Local CDL B Driver – Holland, MI
Are you looking for a place where you're respected, supported, and given the opportunity to grow? Look no further. We are hiring a Local CDL B Driver in Holland, MI. This position involves local, touch freight with shifts primarily from 6:30/7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. **Compensation
- $24.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
- Overtime pay after 40 hours, paid bi-weekly
- Pay range: $25.00/hour
**What You’ll Do
- Operate a CDL B flatbed truck with automatic transmission, Moffett, laddervator, and box trucks
- Make 4–6 stops daily, delivering shingles, windows, doors, siding, and related materials
- Safely lift up to 90 lbs regularly, including heavy shingles
- Work with an assigned helper for offloading shingles on rooftops
- Maintain safety protocols according to DOT and company standards
- Participate in warehouse duties: loading, unloading, pulling orders, and warehouse upkeep
- Follow delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of routes
- Support local deliveries within a 50-mile radius of the branch
**Schedule
- Hourly commitment: 6:30/7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
- Overtime: 2–5 hours per week as needed
- End of year shutdown with pay
**What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year of CDL B driving experience
- Valid CDL B license
- Experience in delivery and warehouse operations
- Hands-on loading/unloading experience
- Forklift and Moffett experience preferred (training provided)
- Clean background with no recent felonies or disqualifying violations
- No recent major traffic violations or accidents (specific criteria apply)
