CDL A or B Driver – Crane Operator

Location: Houston, TX 77066
Pay: $35–$39 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, generally 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CDL A or B Driver with crane operation experience to join a building materials distribution team in Houston, TX. This position involves delivering roofing and building materials to customers, operating a truck-mounted crane to load and unload materials, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial delivery truck and truck-mounted crane.
• Deliver roofing and building materials to residential and commercial job sites.
• Load, unload, and position materials using crane equipment.
• Secure loads and ensure materials are transported safely.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations.
• Assist with warehouse and yard duties as needed.
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B license.
• At least one year of commercial driving experience.
• Previous truck-mounted crane operating experience preferred.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record and driving history.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong safety awareness, reliability, and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.

Schedule and Compensation

• $35–$39 per hour, based on experience.
• Monday–Friday, generally 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
• Overtime available after 40 hours; later hours and occasional Saturday work may be required.
• Direct-hire opportunity.
